This is no longer news, that the Federal Government and N-Power Support Team have announced the exit of Batches A and B Beneficiaries on 30th of June and 31st July, 2020 respectively, there is still good news for the beneficiaries.
According to the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, when he spoke earlier in the media, he said, “existing beneficiaries will not be thrown to the street”.
As part of the transition process before eligible volunteers will be absorbed into government entrepreneurship schemes and engaging private sector bodies to absorb some of the beneficiaries, a compulsory completion of the psychometric assessment test will be done to determine competency and placement into various opportunities as quoted by the Minister.
2020 N-Power Psychometric Assessment Test for Batch A and B before Transition
The Honorable Minister for Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq, she stated that the transition of beneficiaries from Batches A and B into government entrepreneurship schemes and engaging private sector bodies to absorb some of the beneficiaries after the completion of psychometric assessment test, is to determine competency and placement of the beneficiaries into various opportunities.
Only successful volunteers who passed the 2020 N-Power Psychometric Assessment Test will get the opportunity to be absorbed into different sectors of the economy listed below:
- Agriculture & Agro processing
- Transport and Logistics
- Retail (e-commerce)
- Real Estate
- Information & Communication Technology (ICT)
- Creative industry
- Finance (agency banking) etc.
