This update is about N-Power Transition to Permanency for exited batch A and B Volunteers across the Federation. Get the latest update below if you are among the exited N-Power Volunteers.

This article also includes those exited Volunteers that are yet to be paid June/July Stipends Payment.

Back in 2019, N-Power said that beneficiaries will be moved from the N-Power Scheme to other Federal Government agencies.

If you can recall, the Federal Government has promised to absorb existing volunteers into government entrepreneurship schemes and engaging volunteers into viable private sectors.

What is N-Power Permanency?

The N-Power Permanency is for Batch A and B exited Beneficiaries, If you are in any of this Batches, then you need to know what the permanency is all about.

N-Power has promised to move all beneficiaries to good working environment for permanent job placement. It means that N-Power will give beneficiaries permanent jobs in the government agencies, or support them to create a permanent business of their own.

N-Power will work with many federal and state agencies to ensure that beneficiaries are permanently employed.

In a bid to implement the N-Power Nigeria Transition to Permanency, N-Power was moved to a new ministry. However, the transition from one ministry to another caused N-Power beneficiaries to stay up to 2 months without receiving their stipends.

Note: The N-Power Psychometric Assessment Test is a part of the Transition process before eligible volunteers will be absorbed into government entrepreneurship schemes and engaging private sector bodies.

More on N-Power Transition to Permanency

According to the Honourable Minister of HADMSD Sadiya Umar Farouq,  Transition is not for all volunteers, more than 100,000 volunteers are already engaged in businesses, hence won’t be needing MDAs Job.

“Transition into MDAs will be done as planned, but only few will be selected, this is because, no new vacancies in MDAs at the moment.

When asked on how the “few” will be selected, the Minister swiftly responded, thus; volunteers who meet the Psychometric Test requirement have their chances.

Few to be selected in this case means, only those who showed interest and followed the update via focal officials’ directives.

“We have received large numbers of interested volunteers through the “details Update and we are processing it for immediate take-off” the Minister added.

Some volunteers updated their details during the data collection by states focal persons, you can still reach your focal person if you are interested in the transitioning plan for update.
