The Federal Government has given assurances through the Ministry of Interior that the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) Recruitment are to be conducted before the end 2021, read more details below.
These assurances were revealed by the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola during a press briefing, he gave reasons why the recruitment exercise was delayed or interrupted.
As quoted by the Minister, the reason behind the inability of the ministry to conclude recruitment of personnel into the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) as well as the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), id because of the COVID-19 pandemic interruption.
As stated by the Minister, we have concluded plans with the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to conduct a Computer Based Test for candidates who have been shortlisted.
The new development was announced by the Federal Government of Nigeria, As Government planning to recruit about one million Nigerian youths before 2021 into Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
