The Federal Government has set a target of training 10 million graduates in Nigeria under the N-Power programme by 2023, even as it has extended payment of stipends of the scheme’s 2016 Batch 1 beneficiaries beyond the expiry month of December 2018.

Solution for Npower July Stipends on hold and backlogs

Those 2016 & 2017 beneficiaries on payment-hold has been advised to report to appropriate authorities in their states of deployment and do a written documentation stating why they were absent at the time of the Npower evaluation and monitoring team. Once a fit back is receive, and deem satisfactory, you will be remove from unhold and your payments sent to your bank account. Some beneficiaries who were later place on hold have started receiving their stipends.

Good news is here 2019 Npower Beneficiaries has started receiving July Stipends. As for the N-Power Enhancement programme for 2016 beneficiaries Federal Government extended payment of stipends of the scheme’s 2016 Batch 1 beneficiaries beyond the expiry month of December 2018.

According to Vice President Yemi Osibanjo, Osinbajo said: “Over the past two years, through the N-Power programme, the largest post-tertiary employment programme in Africa, we have been able to offer skills development programmes digitally to over 500,000 young citizens between the ages of 18 and 35. We have set a target of skilling 10 million Nigerians by 2023.

How to solve Backlog Payments for 2016 and 2017 N-Teach, N-Agro, N-Health, N-Tech and N-Tax Beneficiaries

Those on Backlog Payments ensure your bank account/BVN corresponds with what you say is your account number. If it corresponds and you are still on Backlog Payments follow the steps below to resolve the issues.

  1. Scan and upload Appointment Letter
  2. Upload Place of Primary Assignment name
  3. Scan and upload Bank account statement from the period you were not paid.
