JAMB Admission List for 2019/2020 Academic Session is out | Accept/Reject Admission Status via CAPS

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released her admission list for the 2019/2020 Academic Session to enable candidates that sat for the 2019 UTME examinations to know their admission status.

This article servers as a guide to candidates, it will direct them hoe they can accept or reject the admission if they so desire, and this process can be done via the JAMB CAPS admission portal. Duly registered candidates can now check their JAMB CAPS Admission Status Portal for details concerning their admission process

  • Login into the JAMB official portal using https://www.jamb.org.ng/.
  • Scroll down and click on check admission status.
  • Enter your JAMB eFacility login details (email and password) and click on login.
  • In your Dashboard click on “Check 2019 UTME/DE Admission Status on Caps

How to accept and reject 2019/2020 Admission Status via CAPS

To accept and reject Admission Status via CAPS is very simple but be careful while accepting and rejecting Admission Status via CAPS

In your CAPS dashboard, you’ll see a notification telling you whether or not you’ve been offered admission

Immediately you have check your CAPS and find out JAMB has offered you admission, click on the accept button. Later, you’ll see a notification asking you if you really want to accept; click on accept again to confirm your choice.

All Candidates should note the followings:

If your CAPS shows Admission in Progress, believe you have been offered admission but under processing.

Your JAMB CAPS will not come up if you have not uploaded your WAEC/NECO/GCE Result online.

Candidates, who click on reject, will not get the option to review your choice. Therefore make sure you don’t click on reject if you actually want to accept the admission.

If given admission and you don’t like the course, please try your possible best to discuss it with your senior colleague for enlightenment.
