We wish to use this medium to inform all undergraduate students of Niger Delta origin, the Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria (Operator of the NNPC/SPDC /TEPN/AGIP Joint Venture), have invited applications from qualified undergraduates into her annual Scholarship programme. Brief About the SPDC Scholarships

The Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited (Operator of the NNPC/SPDC /TEPN/AGIP Joint Venture), in pursuance of its Education Social Investment programme, which aims to promote academic excellence and improve the skills of young Nigerians, invites applications from suitably qualified full-time Nigerian students admitted in the 2018/2019 academic session to apply for the University Scholarship Scheme below:

Eligible States for 2020 Niger Delta SPDC Scholarship

  1. Rivers State
  2. Imo State
  3. Bayelsa State
  4. Abia State
  5. Delta State

Requirements for 2020 Niger Delta SPDC Scholarship

Interested Applicants must:

  1. Be citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
  2. Be registered FULL TIME undergraduates in an accredited and approved University in Nigeria
  3. Be in 200 Level (as at December 2019)
  4. All applicants should have personal valid email account (for consistent communication)
  5. Must come from the eligible states                 

How to Register/Apply

  • Applicants for the Operational Area Awards are required to provide scanned copies of letters of identification, (which must be duly stamped and signed) by:
  • The Paramount Ruler of the Community; and
  • The Chairman of the Community Development or Executive Council (CDC or CEC)

Please Note better:

  • Shell does not demand payment from applicants. The application is entirely FREE of charge
  • Shell does not assign ‘Representatives’/‘Agents’ to assist applicants’ process applications
  • Only candidates shortlisted for selection tests will be contacted
  • Apply on Shell Nigeria website only
