This is to inform the general public that online application for admission into the 73rd Regular Course of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna is currently in progress for interested and willing candidates, apply now.

Are you a young man or woman, and willing to serve your father’s land through the Military, this is you opportunity, apply for admission into the Nigerian Defence Academy now and enroll as a military officer, either as an Army, Navy or Airforce. Admission into NDA is open to both MALE and FEMALE Nigerians.

Mode of Application

Interested candidates are advised to go online and complete the application form on the websites indicated above. Please download and read carefully, the Instructions provided on the website.

Note: Applicants applying for admission into NDA must also apply to the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB), and must select NDA as first choice institution. Such applicants are expected to sit for the JAMB Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME).

  • Create an account by clicking HERE, follow the instruction and fill the appropriate spaces correctly, then click on Register
  • After the account creation, login into the portal or Click Here to login, using your email address and the password you created.
  • Fill the online admission form correctly with all details required; the system will prompt you on how to complete the application. Once satisfied with the application, click on Submit!


Applicants can pay for their Application Form Online via the portal or via REMITA Retrieval Reference RRR at any Nigerian bank of choice. Ensure you have completed the previous step “CREATE AN ACCOUNT” to proceed.

To pay Online, Login to the application portal, choose ‘Pay online’.

To pay via at any Nigerian bank of choice, login to the application portal, choose ‘Pay at Bank Branch’

The application will guide you through the rest of the straightforward payment process.


The online upload of required application documents is necessary, it is therefore advised that you please come along with the originals of this uploaded documents for sighting during your interview. Your application information is maintained on a secure server and remains confidential. Use the Support link to get help or assistance during the completion and submission process.


Your application will be reviewed online by the appropriate admission officials once submitted to the Nigerian Defence Academy Online. All required application procedures must be completed on or before the appropriate application deadline.


After carrying out all procedures above, you can check the status of your application by logging into this system with the login details assigned to you for the application.

Application Duration

Application runs from Saturday 23rd January 2021 to Saturday 24th April 2021.


Only candidates who satisfied the minimum admission requirements would be considered for the Screening Test. The UTME score for Engineering is 210points while that of Arts & Social Sciences as well as Science is 180points.


The screening test will be conducted as phase one of the Post-UTME screening and is scheduled to hold on Saturday 15th May 2021. Therefore, all eligible candidates are to bring along their Acknowledgement Form, Screening Test Admission Card, JAMB result slip and TWO (2) postcard sized (3.5 x 5 inches) photographs to the Screening Test Centre. The photographs should show only from the chest upwards and should contain the candidate’s Name, Exam number, State, Exam Centre, Course of study and Signature at the back.

Note: Only successful candidates at the NDA Screening Test will subsequently be invited for the Armed Forces Selection Board (phase 2 of the screening test) following which the list of admitted candidates will be published.
