Undergraduates & NCE Students will Receive 75k, 50k Stipends to mark Teachers’ Day Celebration

This is good news to all students undergoing degree programmes in Education in public universities in Nigeria, Federal Government of Nigeria has approved the sum of N75,000 as a stipend per semester as to mark this year Teachers day Celebration, see more below.

As Nigeria Teachers join the rest of their colleagues all over the world to mark 2021 World Teachers’ day, the Federal Government of Nigeria under the administration of His Excellency President Buhari, has approves N75,000 stipend payment for undergraduate students and N50,000 for NCE students.

Today marks a day set aside for Teachers all over the World, the celebrations is to honor teachers for their special contributions in a particular field area or their community in general. We have good news for all aspiring Teachers in Nigeria as Federal Government set to pay 75k, 50k Stipends to Undergraduates & NCE Students, studying Educational programmes in public universities in Nigeria.

Federal Government has approved the sum of N75,000 as a stipend per semester for students undergoing degree programmes in Education in public universities in Nigeria.

Also, the Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) students will get N50,000 as a stipend per semester as part of the deliberate effort of the government to attract the best brains into the teaching profession as promised by President Muhammadu Buhari last year.

Minister of Education, Malam Adamu announced this On Tuesday, at the World Teachers’ Day celebration held at Eagle Square, Abuja.

Adamu whose speech was read by the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Education, Arc. Sonny Echono said his ministry would collaborate with the states’ government to ensure automatic employment for the students on graduation.

Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Education, Arc. Sonny Echono said: “Undergraduate students of B.Ed / B.A. Ed/ BSc. Ed in Public institutions is to receive stipends of N75,000.00 per semester while NCE students will get N50,000.00 as stipends per semester.
