Therefore Nestlé Nigeria PLC is delighted to invite qualified students from her host communities (Obafemi Owode, Sagamu and Agbara in Ogun State and Manderigi and Abaji in Federal Capital Territory) to apply for her community scholarships. The scholarships which is for Science and Technical Courses is open to SS1 students only in specified secondary schools and First year students only in accredited Universities and Polytechnics.
About Nestle Nigeria Community Scholarship Scheme
Nestle Nigeria Plc is proud to announce the launch of the second phase of its community scholarship scheme, aimed at supporting the youth of its host communities.
This initiative is designed to provide educational opportunities for deserving students, enabling them to pursue their educational and personal goals through financial sponsorship.
Currently, the program benefits approximately 109 students hailing from the communities around Owode-Egba, Sagamu, Abaji, and Agbara, where Nestle’s factories are located.
Launched in 2020, this scholarship program initially covered the host communities of the company’s factories situated at Sagamu Interchange, Ogun State, and Abaji, the Federal Capital Territory.
Now, it has been extended to include the host community of the company’s third factory in Agbara, Ogun State.
This scholarship initiative aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 4, which aims to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all by 2030.
The Nestle Nigeria Community Scholarship Scheme is dedicated to bridging this educational gap, providing financial assistance to help young individuals successfully complete their science and technology studies, both in secondary and tertiary education.

Aim and Benefits of Nestle Nigeria Senior Secondary
The Nestle Nigeria Community Scholarship Scheme is structured into two categories:
- Senior Secondary
- Tertiary
Under these categories, students will receive financial support covering the following below:
- Tuition
- Accommodation
- Uniforms
- Living and educational expenses
- Books and study materials
Requirements, Eligibility and Qualifications for Nestle Scholarships
University Level
- Applicants must be 100-level students only of accredited Universities and Polytechnics studying Science and Technical Courses
- Applicants must obtained 5 credits in WASSCE OR NECO SSCE at one sitting in Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology
- Applicants must score at least 200 in UTME/JAMB
Senior Secondary Level
- This awards is for only for SS1 students in Science and Technical classes in the following schools:
- Owode High School, Owode
- Remo Secondary School, Sagamu
- Methodist Comprehensive College, Sagamu
- Remo Division High School, Sagamu
- Federal Government Girls College, Sagamu
- Have obtained 5 credits in BECE (JSS3) exams, in specific subjects including Mathematics, English and Basic Science.
